Clara Moniz
Voice, Violin, Theory, Composition
Clara is a singer, composer, violinist, and a passionate music educator. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in voice performance at the Glenn Gould School. In 2023/24, she was intern conductor with the Mississauga Festival Youth Choir, a young leader with the Oakville Choir for Children and Youth, and taught private voice and violin lessons at KAOS Music Studios. A graduate of the Oakville Suzuki Association, she has returned as Childcare Lead and chamber coach for their summer camp. She is currently the conductor of the Glenn Gould School Choir studying under Jennifer Tung, and recently completed the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir’s Conducting Mentorship Program under the direction of Jean-Sébastien Vallée. She is also a rehearsal assistant with the Toronto Children’s Chorus.

Sofia Moniz
Violin, Viola, Theory
Sofia is a violinist, violist, and music educator, with experience teaching students of all ages. She recently graduated from U of T with a Bachelor of Arts, and has completed Every Child Can and Suzuki book 1 violin teacher training. From 2023-2026, she taught violin, viola, and music theory at the Snider School of Music. In 2023/4 she worked in elementary music classrooms at the Jackman Institute for Child Study, and in childcare (infants to school-aged) at All About Kids in Leslieville. A graduate of the Oakville Suzuki Association, she worked in childcare, early childhood music classrooms, and as a chamber coach for their summer camp. She was a member of the TSYO viola section from 2020-23.
